About the Foundation

Dan for Relief and Development Foundation (DRD) is a Syrian non-profit organization founded in Syria in 2013. Its main office is located in Al-Hasakah Governorate. It works to achieve stability and economic and social development by securing the basic needs of the most vulnerable groups, including children, youth, and women.

DRD has over a decade of experience providing aid across all of Syria, working through local teams comprising more than 320 staff members, and operating from 4 offices and 13 community centers in Syria. We work with international partners to implement vital projects in the areas of food security, protection, education, water and sanitation, peacebuilding, early recovery, emergency response, etc.
